  18. This file provides information for Shareware Distributors, Disk Vendors and
  19. Computer Clubs who wish to distribute the TOM 1.02 package.
  20.

  22. SITE.TXT for information.

  29.                          Distribution Requirements

  32. Individuals who wish to distribute the TOM V1.02 package to friends or
  33. associates may do so in accordance with the restrictions outlined in
  34. LICENSE.TXT.
  35.  
  36. Computer Clubs and User Groups wishing to add the TOM V1.02 package to
  37. their disk library may do so in accordance with the Distribution
  38. Restrictions listed below.
  39.  
  40.    If you would like your Computer Club or User Group to be placed on our
  41.    mailing list for future upgrades to any of our products, please contact
  42.    us for complete details.  Our address, phone number, and CompuServe User
  43.    ID number is listed in DESCRIBE.TXT.

  45. Limited Distribution License:

  48. As the exclusive copyright holder for TOM V1.02, PolySoft-Australia
  49. authorizes distribution only in accordance with the following restrictions.
  50.  
  51. ASP Approved Vendors in good standing are hereby given permission to
  52. distribute TOM V1.02 package.  Non-ASP member vendors must request
  53. permission prior to distributing this package.
  54.  
  55. The TOM V1.02 package is defined as containing all the material listed
  56. in the PACKING.TXT text file.  If any files listed in the PACKING.TXT text
  57. file, or the PACKING.TXT file itself, are missing, then the package is not
  58. complete and distribution is forbidden.  Please contact us to obtain a
  59. complete package suitable for distribution.
  60.  
  61. The TOM V1.02 package - including all related program files and
  62. documentation files - CANNOT be modified in any way and must be distributed
  63. as a complete package, without exception.  The PACKING.TXT text file
  64. contains a list of all files that are part of the TOM V1.02 package.
  65.  
  66.    Small additions to the package, such as the introductory or installation
  67.    batch files used by many shareware disk vendors, are acceptable.
  68.  
  69. No price or other compensation may be charged for the TOM V1.02
  70. package.  A distribution fee may be charged for the cost of the diskette,
  71. shipping and handling, as long as the total (per disk) does not exceed
  72. US$8.00 in the U.S. and Canada, or US$12.00 internationally.

  74. Disk Sets & CD-ROMs:

  76. The TOM V1.02 package CANNOT be sold as part of some other inclusive
  77. package.  Nor can it be included in any commercial software packaging
  78. offer, without a written agreement from PolySoft-Australia.

  80.    ASP Approved Vendors who wish to distribute the TOM V1.02 package
  81.    as part of a collection (such as PsL's MegaDisk set, or a CD-ROM
  82.    package) may do so provided that all the other restrictions are met.

  84.    Vendors (non-ASP Vendor Members) who wish to distribute the
  85.    TOM V1.02 package as part of a collection (such as PsL's MegaDisk
  86.    set, or a CD-ROM package) must obtain permission from PolySoft-Australia
  87.    prior to beginning such a distribution.

  89.    If you wish to add any of our programs to a CD-ROM or other collection,
  90.    please check the release date of the version you have.  If the version
  91.    is over twelve (12) months old then please contact us to ensure that you
  92.    have the most current version.  This version was released in February,
  93.    1992.

  95. Disk-of-the-Month (or Subscription) Distribution:

  97. If you would like to distribute the TOM V1.02 package as a Disk-of-
  98. the-Month, or as part of a subscription or monthly service, then the
  99. following restrictions apply:

  101.    ASP Associate (Disk Vendor) Members in good standing are hereby given
  102.    permission to distribute the TOM V1.02 package under the Disk-of-
  103.    the-Month style of distribution.
  104.  
  105.    Others (non-ASP Members) must contact us in advance to ensure that you
  106.    have the most current version of the software.
  107.  
  108.    You cannot use a Disk-of-the-Month distribution to use up your inventory
  109.    of old (out of date) disks.  Only current versions may be shipped as
  110.    Disk-of-the-Month disks.
  111.  
  112. The PRINTED User's Guide may not be reproduced in whole or in part, using
  113. any means, without the written permission of PolySoft-Australia.  In other
  114. words, the disk-based documentation may not be distributed in PRINTED
  115. (hardcopy) form.
  116.  
  117. The TOM V1.02 package cannot be "rented" or "leased" to others.
  118.  
  119. You may not list any of our products in advertisements, catalogs, or other
  120. literature which describes our products as "FREE SOFTWARE".  Shareware is
  121. "Try-Before-You-Buy" software, it is not free.
  122.  
  123. Licensee shall not use, copy, rent, lease, sell, modify, decompile,
  124. disassemble, otherwise reverse engineer, or transfer the licensed program
  125. except as provided in this agreement.  Any such unauthorized use shall
  126. result in immediate and automatic termination of this license.
